Have you ever had a quiet moment where you realized… you’ve spent so much of your life showing up for everyone else, you’re not quite sure what you want anymore? Not because you don’t have dreams—but because they’ve been sitting patiently on the shelf while you built a life for others.
Recently, as I watched The Wizard of Oz, I was reminded how easy it is to keep searching “out there” for something more, when the truth is, the life you’re longing for has been waiting within you all along—softly, steadily, like a seed ready to grow when you finally give it light.
Living the Vision—Before the Sand Runs Out
There’s something powerful about realizing how quickly time moves—like grains of sand slipping through an hourglass. We don’t always notice it in the moment, but one day we pause and feel it… time has passed.
And the question gently rises:
Am I living a life I truly love?
Years ago, I asked myself that same question. At the time, I was deep in corporate retail, feeling successful on paper—but disconnected from something deeper inside me. So I made a decision that would change everything: I wrote down a vision for my life.
To pay off $200K in debt.
To retire early.
To build a life coaching business rooted in purpose and freedom.
At the time, it felt bold… even uncertain. But step by step, choice by choice, that vision became the life I now wake up to each day. Not by accident—but by design.
The hourglass reminds me that while we may not know our end date, we do get to choose how we live in the time we’re given.
Not someday.
Not when everything is perfect.
But now.
So let me gently ask you—
Are you living in the vision of what you would truly love?
Or are you waiting for the “right time” to begin?
It’s easy to get caught in the rhythm of everyday life… the responsibilities, the expectations, the endless to-do lists. I’ve been there. So have so many of the women I work with—women who gave their all to their families, their careers, their responsibilities… and somewhere along the way, lost sight of themselves.
But here’s the truth that can change everything:
You are allowed to begin again.
Simple Steps to Start Designing Your Life
🌱 Pause and reflect
Take a few quiet moments today and ask yourself: What would I truly love? Let your answer be honest, not practical.
🌱 Write it down
There is power in putting your vision on paper. Don’t filter it. Don’t shrink it. Let it breathe.
🌱 Act as if
Begin making small choices that align with the life you desire. Each step may feel small—but like seeds in the soil, they grow into something far greater than you can see today.
Time will continue to pass… just as it always has.
But your life—your dreams, your joy, your next chapter—are still waiting for you. Like a garden ready to bloom, all they need is your attention, your intention, and your belief that it’s not too late.
Because it isn’t.
There is still time to live your vision.
